FUNCTIONS

Patented formula; most beneficial to sportspersons, “weekend joggers”, individuals with osteoarthritis and consumers who want to maintain healthy joints.

• Helps relieve joint and muscle inflammation and pain; provide building blocks for joints and muscles to regain their health.

• Comes in orange taste with a moderate dose of Vitamin C, it contains a high concentration of nutrient-rich 100% Stabilised Aloe Vera as base, Glucosamine Sulfate, Chondroitin sulfate and Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM). (Since joints have no blood vessels, a high concentration gradient is needed before tissues are able to absorb nutrients).

Nutrient-rich 100% Stabilised Aloe Vera which helps cleanse the gastrointestinal system, stimulate the immune system, promote healing (cell regeneration), reduce inflammation; and acts as the best possible vehicle to transport joint-building nutrients to cells.

Glucosamine Sulfate: A major building block of cartilage. Stimulates the production of additional synovial fulid, enablibg joints to roll more smoothly. Slows down the deterioration of joints (Note: Tendons, ligaments, mucous membranes, several structures in the eye, blood vessels and heart valves have glucosamine component as well).

Chondroitin Sulfate: An important building block of connective tissues including cartilage, tendons and walls of blood vessels. Its hydrating characteristic gives protein the elasticity, compressibility and shape. Blocks enzymes that breakdown cartilage.

MSM: An indispensable component of all connective tissues (including joints, bones, muscles, nail and hair) – due to its contribution of sulfur bonds that gives proteins and amino acids the strength and integrity. Helps restore permeability to cell membranes, thus allowing cells to eliminate harmful substances and take up oxygen and beneficial nutrients thereby reducing inflammation and pain.

GLUCOSAMINE, CHONDROTIN & MSM
Noteworthy study by the Scientific Community
1. In a 3-year study on 212 osteoarthritis patients, those who received placebo experienced continued joint space narrowing, but those who received glucosamine sulfate daily experienced little or no joint space narrowing at the end of the study period. Glucosamine Sulfate consumed as a long term treatment can effectively slow down the degeneration of joints.
2. 1,600 individuals with osteoarthritis of the knee were given different treatments over 24 weeks. The results showed that combining glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate was effective in treating symptoms of moderate to severe knee pain.
3. 118 patients were given treatments of glucosamine or MSM or a combination of the two over 12 weeks. Those who took a combination of glucosamine sulfate and MSM experienced the most rapid and the most significant reduction in pain and inflammation.
